Fred played a key role in the conception and design of PPTY. Before PPTY, he worked in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he focused on real estate and non-performing loan acquisitions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Chatham Financial, a boutique investment bank and leading risk management advisor, where he specialized in real estate restructuring and leveraged finance.

Fred holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in International Studies from the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jerry Bowyer

Jerry has a BS/BA in accounting from the Robert Morris University School of Business. He worked for both the audit and tax divisions of Arthur Andersen and Co., and subsequently served as Vice President of the Beechwood Company, the family office for the owners of Federated Investors, and he was a pension asset administrator for John S. Agatston Actuarial Services.

Andrew Alden

Mr. Alden has ten years of investment management industry experience and currently serves as Head of Quantitative Research for WeatherStorm Capital. Mr. Alden led the quantitative development of PPTY’s underlying index, PPTYX. Before PPTY, Andrew played a key role in developing the other Vident indexes and serves on the Vident Investor Oversight Committee. Prior to Mr. Alden’s role with WeatherStorm Capital, Andrew served as a senior portfolio strategist at Lattice Strategies and the lead researcher designing systematic equities strategies. Prior to earning his MFE, he worked at Guggenheim Partners and Citco Fund Services. Mr. Alden obtained a Masters in Financial Engineering from University of California Berkeley and a BCom in Economics & Finance from University of Cape Town, South Africa. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
