Summary:

Now On Demand.

For many investors, their entrance into crypto starts with bitcoin. But as they explore the landscape further, their next stop is often Ethereum, the world’s second-most valuable blockchain on which the majority of DeFi and NFT-related activity are hosted. This summer, Ethereum will make headlines when it implements one of the most significant software upgrades in crypto history.

In this special one-hour webcast, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan, Director of Research David Lawant, and Crypto Research Analyst Anais Rachel will discuss Ethereum’s role in the digital asset space, what the coming upgrade means for Ethereum and ETH-holders, and how advisors can address client questions about crypto’s second-most prominent asset.

Topics include:

  • An overview of what Ethereum is, how it’s different from Bitcoin, and why it’s so popular
  • Why Ethereum is going through such a massive overhaul
  • A high-level discussion of “The Merge” — the first key milestone of the multi-phase upgrade launching as early as June 2022
  • Considerations for advisors who have clients invested in Ethereum, or for clients who are considering an investment in the second-largest crypto network
