Michelle joined Global X in 2018. As Head of ETF Model Portfolios, Michelle is responsible for overseeing the ETF model portfolio team in the construction and management of Global X’s suite of ETF model portfolios. Michelle and her team develop the macroeconomic and market views that shape portfolio positioning. Additionally, she works closely with the ETF model portfolio team on maintaining and assessing the quantitative models behind Global X’s thematic model portfolios. Since joining Global X, Michelle has been instrumental in establishing the operational and investment processes for the ETF model portfolio business.

Previously, Michelle worked at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in its ETF model portfolio business. Prior to Merrill, Michelle worked for a boutique asset management firm, with a focus on both South African and developed market equities.

Michelle has authored papers on portfolio management with a focus on thematic and income focused investing. She also writes about a broad range of economic topics and is frequently quoted in leading financial publications including the Wall Street Journal and CNBC. She has also appeared on leading news and market stations including Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance.

Michelle holds a Master’s in International Finance from the Amsterdam Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

David Beniaminov, CFA David Beniaminov, CFA Portfolio Strategist Global X ETFs

David joined Global X in 2021. As a Portfolio Strategist, he works closely with members the ETF model portfolio team on constructing, reviewing, updating, and providing commentary on Global X’s suite of model portfolios.

David has authored papers on portfolio management focused on thematic and income investing. He also provides macroeconomic and market views that shape portfolio positioning.

Previously, David worked at UBS Wealth Management as a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate, where he was responsible for the development and management of the investment strategy for a book of ultra-high net worth clients.

David holds a B.A. in International Relations focused in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and is a CFA Charterholder.

Kenneth Tjonasam Kenneth Tjonasam Portfolio Strategist Global X ETFs

Kenneth joined Global X in 2022. As a Portfolio Strategist, he works closely with members of the ETF model portfolio team on constructing, reviewing, updating, and providing commentary on Global X’s suite of model portfolios. He has been instrumental in maintaining, assessing, and improving the quantitative models behind Global X’s thematic model portfolios.

Kenneth also provides macroeconomic and market views and has been quoted in publications such as Bloomberg, The Guardian, and The Hill.

Previously, Kenneth worked at Nomura Securities as a Multi-Strategy Associate, where he was responsible for trading derivatives on behalf of Asian, Canadian and US clients.

Kenneth holds a B.A in Economics from the City University of New York.

Tom Driscoll is SVP, Director of Model Portfolio Sales at Global X ETFs. He has over 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Global X in 2021, Tom was co-head of Strategist Model Portfolios at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He also held positions at S&P Investment Advisory Services, MFS Investment Management, NATIXIS Global Asset Management, and Rydex SGI Investment Management. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
