In today’s market environment, where investors face rising interest rates, geopolitical risks, inflation, and low valuations, investment decisions may be driven by fear. But, if we look at similar market environments, such as the tech bubble in 2000, or the global financial crisis in 2008, volatility may also have the potential to create opportunities, particularly within private equity.

Join Eric Zeigler, Managing Director, Wealth Solutions, Macquarie Asset Management for a historical perspective on why today’s volatile market may be a good time to allocate to private equity.

During the presentation, you will learn:

  • How vintages that began investing during challenging market environments became some of the best-performing
  • Why low valuations are not necessarily a bad thing, and may enable opportunistic managers to purchase attractive assets at a discount
