Summary:

Now On Demand

We expect the Federal Reserve to lower rates at some point, which leaves cash portfolios vulnerable to reinvestment risk. Increasing duration through fixed income strategies can help your clients lock in their yields before that happens. These fixed income investment strategies offer the potential to extend duration and lock in yields for longer. Join Invesco to learn about the latest macro framework on how to understand where we are in the current cycle and what to expect in the coming months.

Fixed-income investments are subject to credit risk of the issuer and the effects of changing interest rates. Interest rate risk refers to the risk that bond prices generally fall as interest rates rise and vice versa. An issuer may be unable to meet interest and/or principal payments, thereby causing its instruments to decrease in value and lowering the issuer’s credit rating.
