WisdomTree’s Schwartz Talks 2021 Market Outlook & Key Investment Themes

Jeremy Schwartz, EVP, Global Head of Research at WisdomTree Asset Management discusses WisdomTree’s 2021 market outlook and what key factors advisors should consider when making allocation decisions.

Headed into the final weeks of 2020, COVID cases continue to soar in the U.S. and abroad, while on the flip side the recently FDA approved Pfizer vaccine is all steam ahead. Despite the conclusion of the general presidential election in November, the looming Georgia senate run-off races in January will determine senate majority, and has major implications on tax and policy upon the inauguration of President Elect Joe Biden. Other loose ends include pending fiscal stimulus negotiations and an incomplete Chinese trade deal.

In the midst of continued uncertainty and historically low yields Schwartz emphasizes key investment themes such as: quality with a tilt towards yield,  value rotation, new world growth, and interest rate hedging.

The WisdomTree Quality Growth Fund (DGRW), for example, is designed to provide exposure to dividend paying large cap companies that demonstrate both quality and growth characteristics. DGRW aims to deliver higher quality stocks at a discounted valuation as well as generate income growth and outperformance. Schwartz also defines the “New World Growth” opportunities in cloud computing, platform-based companies and non-state owned companies in emerging markets.

WLCD, WisdomTree’s cloud computing ETF, launched last September and is up more than 90% YTD. To learn more, register WisdomTree’s webcast: 2021 Economic & Market Outlook. Topics Include:
