Nicholas J. Elward, Sr. is a Senior Vice President and Head of Institutional Product and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the Strategic Product Group at Natixis Investment Managers. He is responsible for product research and product development for a wide range of product types, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), separately managed accounts hedge funds and bank commingled products, and for overseeing the ETF business. Nick has nearly 30 years of investment industry experience.

Prior to joining Natixis, Nick was a vice president at State Street Global Advisors and a senior product manager in the Global Product & Marketing Group. He previously spent 14 years at Fidelity Investments working in a combination of US and international client-facing, product development and product marketing positions. His track record includes research and development that spans equity; fixed income; liquid alternatives; retirement solutions; emerging markets; global macro; infrastructure; environmental, social, and governance products; master limited partnerships; and mergers and acquisitions. Most notably, he worked to launch the ETF business for Natixis. In addition to his work in the investment industry, Nick is an adjunct professor at Endicott College in Beverly, MA, where he teaches Leadership, Product, Sales and Marketing classes n the MBA program.

Nick received his BA in political science from the College of the Holy Cross and his MBA from Northeastern University. He enjoys volunteering for charities focused on homelessness and children’s causes. He currently volunteers at the Pine Street Inn, and the Home for Little Wanderers, both in Boston. He is also the co-lead of Natixis’ Healthy Minds employee resource group.

Michael Buckius joined Gateway in 1999 and holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), and is a member of Gateway’s Board of Managers. He is also Co-Portfolio Manager for several mutual funds advised or subadvised by the firm, including the Gateway Fund.

As Gateway’s CIO, Michael is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment management and trading functions, as well as product development and servicing the individual client relationships.

Prior to joining Gateway, he was an equity derivatives sales professional at Bear Stearns & Co. and Bankers Trust Company in New York, where he specialized in the design and implementation of hedging and monetization strategies for high-net-worth individuals and corporations. Prior to his employment in New York, he held a variety of options-related research and trading positions at Alex. Brown & Sons Inc. in Baltimore. Michael received his BA and MBA in finance from Loyola University Maryland, and he is a CFA® charterholder.

Will Goldstone is responsible for providing portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment manager research services to financial advisors using qualitative evaluations and quantitative tools.

Will joined Natixis in 2022. His ten-plus years of industry experience includes roles as an investment strategist at Newton Investment Management Group and at Mellon. He also served as a business development analyst at Boston Company Asset Management, and held financial services roles in the UK.

He holds a BA in international relations from the University of Leeds and is FINRA 3, 63, and 7 licensed.
