Dave Goodsell is Executive Director of the Natixis Center for Investor Insight, a research program dedicated to the analysis and reporting of issues and trends important to investors, their financial professionals, money managers, employers, governments and policymakers.

 Dave leads global thought leadership initiatives for Natixis Investment Managers, ranked among the world’s largest asset managers.  In this role, he oversees a team of independent and affiliated researchers, analysts and writers who track major developments across the markets, economy and investing spectrum to understand attitudes and perceptions influencing the decisions of individual investors, financial professionals, consultants and institutional decision makers.

Under Dave’s leadership, the Center has conducted more than 60 research reports since 2010, with insights from more than 100,000 responders in 30+ countries. Its findings are widely featured in major global financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, the Financial Times and L’Agefi.

A veteran financial writer and frequent speaker, Dave joined Natixis as editorial director in 2001 after serving as editorial director at Liberty Funds (now Columbia Threadneedle Investments) and Fidelity Investments. He regularly presents the Center’s findings to financial professionals, fund selectors and private bankers in the US, Europe and Asia, and also frequently serves as an expert panelist for industry organizations.
