George Milling-Stanley is Chief Gold Strategist with State Street Global Advisors. He joined SSGA as a Vice President and Head of Gold Strategy in November 2014. Before joining SSGA, George ran the independent consultancy George Milling-Stanley on Gold, LLC. He retired from the World Gold Council in 2011 after a 15-year career there. Most recently he had been responsible for all programs involving central banks, governments, and regulatory authorities. Before that, he was a key member of the small team that pioneered the development of gold-backed Exchange Traded Funds. His earlier career included six years on the precious metals trading desk of Lehman Brothers.

Previously he worked for Consolidated Gold Fields in London, and before that spent 10 years as a reporter and columnist with the Financial Times. An acknowledged authority on all aspects of the gold business, George Milling-Stanley is a regular speaker at international conferences.
Matthew Bartolini, CFA, CAIA Matthew Bartolini, CFA, CAIA Head of SPDR® Americas Research State Street Global Advisors

Matthew is Head of SPDR Americas Research at State Street Global Advisors. He manages a team responsible for the product research and analysis of SPDR ETFs, and the development of market outlooks, investment themes, and portfolio implementation ideas to help clients understand the market landscape and achieve their desired investment outcomes.

Matthew graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Economics and earned his MBA at Northeastern with concentrations in Investment Analytics and Corporate Finance. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analysts designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. He also holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Anqi Dong Anqi Dong, CFA, CAIA Senior Research Strategist State Street Global Advisors

Anqi is a Vice President of State Street Global Advisors and a Senior Research Strategist within the SPDR Americas Research team. She is responsible for developing market research and portfolio implementation ideas and supporting SPDR Sales and Marketing efforts to promote SPDR products and thought leadership in intermediary and institutional channels.

Prior to her current role, Anqi worked in State Street Dubai Client Relationship team, supporting the Head of Client Service and Senior Relationship Manager to maintain and expand institutional and intermediary business in the Middle East and North Africa region. Anqi started her career in financial services as a Senior Performance Analyst within GIPS Performance Measurement Group based in Boston.

Anqi received her Bachelor degree in Economics from Dalian University of Technology in China and her Master of Science in Finance from Bentley University in Massachusetts. She has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
