Vere Reynolds-Hale, Managing Director, Private Wealth for Stockbridge, joined Keith Black, Managing Director of RIA Channel, to discuss investment opportunities in residential and industrial real estate.
Since its 2003 inception, Stockbridge has raised the majority of its capital from some of the largest domestic and global pensions and sovereign wealth funds. The firm has had a long-term focus on residential and industrial real estate. Stockbridge has $35 billion invested in over 20 institutional funds. The Stockbridge team invests in its own funds alongside investors. In early 2024, after hiring an experienced distribution team, Stockbridge began offering products for the private wealth market.
In the residential sector, Reynolds-Hale sees opportunities in multi-family, build-to-rent, and manufactured housing. After a decline in the real estate market spurred by rising rates, he sees great opportunities to buy. The firm also focuses on niche logistical properties in the industrial market.
