Brian Wilson
Managing Director, Lending Manager

Brian oversees loan origination activity across The Bancorp’s Institutional Banking (IB) business line. He is responsible for the daily management of a $770MM loan portfolio, liaising with the IB business development team and ongoing product development. Prior to joining The Bancorp, he worked for J.P. Morgan and Ally Bank where he was responsible for nationwide origination activity within their residential portfolios. Earlier in his career, Brian was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley where he specialized in research and investment management selection for a senior wealth management group. Brian formerly held a Series 7, 63, 65, 31 and Life Insurance producers’ license. In addition, he was previously NMLS licensed in over 30 individual states to perform residential loan origination. Brian is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing and a minor in International Finance.

Shannon Granahan
Director New Business Sales
The Bancorp Institutional Banking

Shannon joined The Bancorp’s Institutional Banking division in 2009, advancing through managerial positions to lead the New Business Sales team in 2016 and to her current role as Director of New Business in 2017. She is responsible for business development among potential partner firms, introducing The Bancorp’s Securities-Backed Lending, Advisor Acquisition, and other advisor-focused programs. As Director, she has launched strategic new partnerships which have significantly increased the advisor and end-investor base for The Bancorp, while bringing more holistic and value-added wealth management solutions to the partners, their advisor networks and clients. Prior to joining The Bancorp, Shannon worked for Bank of America where she developed her management skills and consumer/retail banking knowledge. She’s a graduate of the University of Delaware.
