Professional municipal bond management: The market has changed. Has your approach? – Eaton Vance – 5.30.19

Summary:

Now On Demand.

The municipal market has changed substantially since the financial crisis. A sharp decline in bonds issued with insurance, a changing regulatory landscape and heightened credit risk have made it increasingly difficult for individual investors to research and purchase municipal bonds on their own. As a result of this shifting environment, the traditional “do-it-yourself” investors have increasingly turned to experienced municipal managers who provide institutional access, professional execution and active credit oversight.

Join us for a discussion on:

  • A review of what has changed in the municipal market
  • Why independent credit oversight is more important than ever
  • An overview of Eaton Vance’s municipal bond capabilities
