Opportunities and Innovations in Managed Futures – Altegris – 5.10.17

Summary:

Now On Demand.

As traditional portfolios continue to perform well, clients may be concerned about what happens next. With stocks at new highs and interest rates poised to rise further, will 60/40-style diversification provide the balance between growth potential and risk management?

Managed futures have historically provided diversifying returns that potentially reduce overall portfolio volatility. Reallocating a portion of a traditional portfolio into managed futures may help to retain growth potential, while also cushioning periods of equity market stress.

In this webcast we will cover:

  • How sophisticated asset allocators incorporate managed futures in a traditional portfolio.
  • Introducing the new Altegris GSA Trend Strategy Fund.
  • Is managed futures a strategic or tactical allocation?
  • Investing in managed futures during multiple market environments.
  • The growing opportunity in flat fee managed futures solutions.
