Mr. Hudgins joined Hines in 2017 as a member of its Proprietary Research Group. Prior to joining Hines, he worked for EII Capital Management, Inc. where he chaired its Global Investment Committee and integrated economic, real estate, and capital markets data to guide country and sector allocation as well as to support EII’s team of analysts in their underwriting of publicly-traded portfolios. Prior to that, Michael worked at JP Morgan Asset Management in both the Global Real Assets and Equities groups, providing clients with strategic and tactical investment insights spanning public and private real estate equity. In the real estate industry since 1993, Michael’s various roles over that career have touched on multiple aspects of the real estate life cycle, ranging from construction to investment management. Other previous experience includes a research analyst position covering the office REIT sector at Stifel Nicolaus, research strategist at Property & Portfolio Research, and Vice President in Strategic Planning at Bovis Lend Lease, a global construction company. He is a frequent speaker at industry and client events and has authored multiple white papers and articles for various industry publications, including the PREA Quarterly.
Dugan Fife Dugan Fife Senior Managing Director – Retail and Institutional Distribution Hines

Dugan Fife is Senior Managing Director for Retail and Institutional Distribution at Hines Securities. He joined the firm as one of the original Regional Directors in 2004. He was promoted to Western Divisional Director in 2007 and assumed his current role in 2010. Mr. Fife has been responsible for managing the capital raising efforts for Hines-sponsored offerings across the country through the broker-dealer channel. Hines Securities is the broker-dealer responsible for the distribution of securities, sponsored by Hines, to the financial services industry. Prior to joining Hines, Mr. Fife was a wholesaler in the capital markets space covering Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.
