Summary:

Your high-net-worth (HNW) clients have unique challenges that require unique solutions – from tax-efficient strategies to single stock risk management. Direct indexing SMAs can help advisors manage taxable portfolios more efficiently. Concentrated stock positions are often the result of success, including equity compensation, long held holdings, or strong market performance. But when single stocks come to dominate portfolios, advisors face a familiar challenge: Managing risk, taxes, and diversification without disrupting what clients value most.

You’ll learn:

  • Tax-efficient management techniques
  • The key risks associated with concentrated stock positions
  • How single stock risk management strategies may help manage downside risk
  • Using direct indexing to support diversification and tax efficiency
  • Where tax aware long/short strategies may fit
