Leveraging top tier manager Dimensional Fund Advisors, John Hancock Investments continues to build out their smart beta ETF offerings. Since the end of 2017, John Hancock has nearly tripled their ETF assets under management, going from roughly $1 billion to $3 billion in assets. Recent launches include JHEM, an emerging markets equity ETF and JHCS, a media and communications ETF. JHCS aims to capture growth within a shifting sector landscape and provide advisors with a toolkit of long and short term tactical capabilities, explains Deroian.
