Laine retired as a Registered Investment Advisor with 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry specializing in business and estate planning with an emphasis on insurance-based strategies and tax strategies. Laine grew and sold his first business entering the family-owned financial services business in 1995. Working side by side with his father, Bob Schoneberger. Laine became the President of Campbell, Schoneberger & Associates, Ltd., in 2007. Growing the company significantly and merging it with another financial services company in 2011. Subsequently, Laine founded Strategic Insurance Inc. which become a Nationwide Brokerage General Agency, selling this practice in 2017 to his partner so he could focus his efforts on Yrefy as the Chief Investment Officer and founding member.

Laine and his team have raised nearly $25MM since 2017 for Yrefy through several Regulation D offerings.
