This year, we’ve organized our outlook into four sections – each unique, but connected by innovation. The pandemic demonstrated vividly that disruptions to the status quo can be fast-tracked in a crisis, and nowhere is that more evident than in healthcare with the trend toward Personalized Medicine. In parallel, as one global crisis is hopefully contained, another rages on in the form of climate change. Fortunately, public and private sector interests are converging, backed by unprecedented human innovation, to build a more resilient Greener Economy. Pedro leads Global X ETFs’ thematic research efforts as a Director of Research. He joined Global X in 2019 as a Research Analyst covering the Thematic Growth suite of ETFs, including those in the Technology, People, and Infrastructure categories. Prior to joining Global X, Pedro held the role of Equity Research Analyst at Cabot Wealth Management where he worked on the firm’s growth-oriented investment strategy, utilizing ETFs to construct multi-asset class portfolios. Pedro earned his MBA from the Bertolon School of Business at Salem State University. |
Madeline joined Global X in 2022 as a Research Analyst covering the suite of Thematic Growth ETFs related to the Physical Environment, including Renewable Energy and Clean Tech. Prior to joining Global X, Madeline worked as a Power & Renewables Analyst with Fitch Solutions where she covered markets primarily in the Americas. Previously, she held research roles across a wide range of climate change and renewable energy-related topics, including with BloombergNEF, NASA DEVELOP, and the International Food Policy Research Institute. Madeline earned her MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a BS in Physical Geography, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems, and Turkish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
Alec joined Global X in 2021. He works as a Research Analyst covering ETFs within the Thematic Growth Suite, particularly focusing on the Physical Environment and People & Demographics categories. Before coming to Global X, Alec interned as an equity research analyst with Nicusa Investment Advisors. Alec earned his BS in Finance and Value Investing from Fordham University in New York. |
