Christine Stokes Christine Stokes Head of Client and Retirement Education Nuveen

As Head of Client and Retirement Education at Nuveen, Christine Stokes leads a team of Advisor Education Specialists and helps drive the firm’s research and education priorities.

She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Nuveen, Christine served as head of multi-asset product at Voya Investment Management, where she was responsible for new product strategy, development, ongoing management across distribution channels and managed the firm’s collective trust platform. Previously, she developed and launched custom target date solutions and oversaw defined contribution plan implementation at AllianceBernstein, L.P. She began her career at MetLife Financial Services as a financial advisor.

She is a frequent speaker at industry events and acontributor to publications focused on retirement and investment planning.

Christine serves on the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Associate Public Policy Committee and is an active member of the Board of Trustees for Mott Haven Academy Charter School, the first in the country designed specifically for children in the child welfare system.

She earned a B.A. from Fairfield University and holds a FINRA Series 7 license.
