Commodities have surged back to life over the past two years after a decade of stagnant returns and investment. This webinar will explore the drivers of the recent rise in energy, food and metal prices, and whether or not it’s just a flash in the pan or may have secular tailwinds. We will also discuss “Greenflation” and how the energy transition to electric vehicles, and alternative sources of energy such as solar panels and wind turbines is driving demand for industrials metals to levels we have never seen before in the history of the commodities market. Finally, we will discuss the role a commodities allocation can play in portfolios and how it is one of the most efficient inflation hedges available.
