Carly is Global Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investments for Nuveen Real Estate. Nuveen Real Estate is one of the world’s leading investment managers with over $150 billion in assets under management. Globally, she leads a team of 350+ investment professionals responsible for all transactional and asset management functions. Carly is also a member of the Global Executive Leadership team.

Prior to her current position, Carly held several leadership positions across the firm, including CIO of the Americas for Nuveen Real Estate, Global Head of Real Estate and Alternatives for TIAA’s $260 billion General Account, and Deputy Portfolio Manager on the TIAA Real Estate Account where she managed over $13 billion in transaction activity. Carly began her career at LaSalle Investment Management where she was a member of the portfolio management team.

Carly received dual B.S. degrees in Finance and International Business from University of Maryland and a M.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina.

Randy Schwimmer Randy Schwimmer Senior Managing Director, Co-Head of Senior Lending Churchill Asset Management

Randy is co-head of senior lending and oversees senior lending origination and capital markets for Churchill Asset Management, an investment specialist of Nuveen.

Randy has broad experience in middle market finance and is widely credited with developing loan syndications for middle market companies. Prior to joining the firm, Randy served as a senior managing director and head of capital markets and indirect origination at Churchill Financial. In those positions, he took responsibility for all loan capital markets activities and for managing the firm’s indirect origination platform. Before that, he worked as managing director and head of leveraged finance syndication for BNP Paribas. He spent 15 years at JP Morgan Chase in corporate banking and loan syndications, where he originated, structured and syndicated leveraged loans.

Randy graduated with a B.A., cum laude, from Trinity College and an M.A. from the University of Chicago.

Brian Griggs, CFA, CMT, FRM Brian Griggs, CFA, CMT, FRM Managing Director, Portfolio Strategist Nuveen

Brian has over a decade of experience as a cross-asset investment strategist focused on both public and private markets. As a senior member of Nuveen’s Portfolio Strategy & Solutions team, he develops and delivers custom analytics, thought leadership and portfolio construction views to investment advisors and their clients.

Prior to joining Nuveen, Brian worked at State Street Global Advisors as an investment strategist, representing the firm’s target-date capabilities to defined contribution plan clients. Prior to that, he worked at Voya Investment Management as a client portfolio manager covering multi-asset and option-based income strategies. He began his career at Bloomberg LP as a portfolio risk, factor investing & derivatives specialist.

Brian graduated with a B.S. from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He also holds the CFA, CMT and FRM designations and is a member of CFA Society Stamford.
