Brad Walker, Co-President of CAIS, joined Keith Black, Managing Director of RIA Channel, at the CAIS Summit to discuss how CAIS has grown alongside the alternative investment community over the last 15 years.
Walker manages relationships with advisor and asset manager clients. CAIS works to empower independent advisors to access alternative investments. Over the past 15 years, CAIS has continued to enhance its technology to help advisors discover and trade alternative investment products. The process includes digital onboarding and integration of alternative investments with the advisor’s custodian and reporting processes. Today, advisors understand the case for investing in alternatives, so the focus on CAIS today is on facilitating those investments.
While CAIS is a technology company, human engagement is at the core of the firm’s success. CAIS Live brings the power and excitement of the annual CAIS Summit to a series of regional events. CAIS hosted 15 Live events in 2024, which facilitated community building within each region. The annual CAIS Summit drew over 1,200 attendees, comprising more than 600 advisors, 60 general partners (GPs), and 20 ecosystem partners and structured note issuers.
