Summary:

AI is reshaping the global economy—but the next wave of AI growth may not be concentrated solely in the U.S. As valuations for the U.S. tech remain elevated, Emerging Markets are rapidly building digital infrastructure, producing global champions, and bringing new technology leaders to public markets.

Join Kevin T. Carter, CIO and Founder of EMQQ Global, as he examines how Artificial Intelligence is accelerating across Emerging Markets and how investors can tap into this long-term growth opportunity.

What we’ll cover:

  • EM Tech Titans + AI: How EM tech leaders like Alibaba, Baidu, Eternal and Mercado Libre are leading the spread of AI in Emerging Markets.
  • China’s 6 AI Tigers: A closer look at Zhipu, Minimax, KIMI, Baichuan, StepFun and 01.AI.
  • Upcoming IPOs: The pipeline of Emerging Market Internet and AI IPOs including Zepto, Flipkart and Jio.
  • Current Valuations: Comparing the valuations of U.S. tech leaders to Emerging Markets leaders and what they may signal for forward returns.

As AI adoption accelerates globally, understanding where it is scaling and how advisors can access it efficiently could be critical to capturing the next structural growth opportunity.

Kevin T. Carter Kevin T. Carter CIO & Founder EMQQ Global, The Emerging Markets Internet Index (EMQQ)

Kevin T. Carter is the Founder & Chief Investment Officer of EMQQ Global, including EMQQ, FMQQ, and INQQ. While he considers himself an active “value” investor first and foremost, he has collaborated with Princeton economist and indexing legend, Dr. Burton Malkiel, for more than 20 years. Their work together began in 1999 with the development of eInvesting, a pioneer firm in fractional share brokerage that was acquired by ETRADE in 2000. In 2002 they founded Active Index Advisors, a pioneer in so-called “direct indexing” that was acquired by Natixis Asset Management in 2005. In 2006, their efforts turned to China and Emerging Markets with Dr. Malkiel’s publishing of “Investment Strategies to Exploit Economic Growth in China” and the subsequent book From Wall Street to the Great Wall. Working with Guggenheim Partners, they launched several China focused ETFs on the NYSE.

Kevin launched the Emerging Markets Internet Index (ticker: EMQQ) in 2014 after noticing how the smartphone was changing his personal consumption habits, followed by an ex-China porfolio (ticker: FMQQ), and later the India Internet Index (ticker: INQQ).
