Garrett A. Pierce, CFP®, AIF® is a Managing Director for Schafer Cullen Capital / Cullen Funds. Garrett is responsible for leading the firm’s RIA and Independent Advisor initiatives. Prior to joining Schafer Cullen, Garrett was Senior Vice President for Pioneer Investments where he led the RIA team’s sales and service strategy in a similar role. He has over 25 years of financial services experience.
Garrett graduated with honors from Harvard University Extension School and received a Masters of Liberal Arts Degree with a concentration in management. He graduated cum laude from New England College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Garrett is the co-founder and board member of The GIFT Foundation (Boston based non-profit organization). In 2005, Garrett was selected as one of Boston Event Guide’s 30 Extraordinary Bostonians for his non-profit work.
Garrett lives with his family in California and enjoys outdoor activities. In 1991 he summited 14,410 foot Mount Rainier, and in 2002 and 2004, Garrett completed the Florida and Lake Placid Ironman Triathlon Events (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run). |

Nick has over 18 years of professional investment experience and over 12 years as a member of the Schafer Cullen Capital Management team. Heinteracts closely with the portfolio managers and investment analysts torepresent the firm’s strategies and insights to both institutional and high networth clients as well as Financial Advisors, Registered Investment Advisors and Family Office Consultants.
Nick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has also earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Schafer-Cullen he spent 6 years at Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) and held positions within their Consulting Group as both a Senior Analyst in Atlanta, GA and Regional Sales Director in Miami, FL. He graduated with honors from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a degree in Finance and is an Eagle Scout. Nick and his family reside in Dallas, TX. |

Jeff Strese is an Organizational Development Consultant and Executive Coach focusing on multi-generational family enterprises, corporations, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations. He has more than 25 years experience working across industries in the areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness and family dynamics. He holds certifications in family wealth and family business advising (CFWA, CFBA).
Jeff is passionate about helping family businesses and organizations create clarity out of the complex and inspiring leaders from all backgrounds to develop and master critical skills like coaching, communication and emotional intelligence. He has developed innovative programs to guide next-generation leaders to reach their full potential in a fast-paced, global economy.
Jeff has served as Chief Talent and Learning Officer (CTLO) at Tolleson Wealth Management, a multi-family office serving client families across the country. Prior to his role at Tolleson, Jeff served as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He has taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses as an Adjunct Faculty member in SMU’s Cox School of Business. He currently serves as Academic Director for an award-winning leadership development program in SMU’s Executive Education Program.
Early in his career, he held a private practice in marriage and family counseling as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) before transitioning into organizational development and executive coaching. He is currently a member of the Teach For America – DFW Advisory Board and Executive Committee.
Jeff is based in Dallas, Texas. He is married with two adult children and enjoys music, traveling and cooking. |
