Hines’ Fife On Real Assets Sector Outlook

Dugan Fife, Senior Managing Director, Hines Securities joined Julie Cooling, Founder & CEO, RIA Channel to discuss the state of real assets, and which sectors have the greatest potential to outperform.

Fife says, Hines is particularly focused on ‘living’ and ‘logistics’ sectors. Given the recent COVID-19 induced strain on supply and demand, and the ongoing aftershocks, Fife expects that the logistics sector still has a lot of room for growth ahead. Within the living sector, rising home prices, interest rates, and labor costs make it difficult to buy or build a home in America. Due to all of these challenges, “High quality, class A living space, with a robust amenity set is a good place to be in commercial real estate,” explains Fife.
