Scott joined Global X in 2022. He is responsible for delivering actionable insights and innovative investment strategies to clients, researching trends at the intersection of accelerating technological, demographic, and environmental change. Previously, Scott was responsible for building out the ProShares line-up of thematic ETFs. Prior to that, he served as Head of Thematic Portfolios and Co-Head of Market Research and Strategy at Morgan Stanley, launching the firm’s thematic research and portfolios, while managing a team that developed global multi-asset investment advice. Scott also held prior roles at BNY Mellon, Credit Suisse First Boston, and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. His work has appeared in numerous media outlets including Barron’s, Bloomberg, and Foreign Affairs. Scott is the co-chair of the Business and Security Roundtable at Fordham University’s Center for National Security and is a Fellow at the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at Auburn University. He served as an Assistant Professor of Social Science at the U.S. Military Academy and the Director of Research at West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center, working across 60 government offices. He is also a member of the Economic Club of New York and was a Term/Corporate Member in the Council on Foreign Relations. Scott holds a Joint Doctorate in Public Policy and Political Science from the University of Michigan, an MA in War Studies from King’s College (London), and a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University. |

Malcolm Dorson is a senior portfolio manager for Emerging Market equities and head of EM Strategy at Global X Management Company. Malcolm has been managing global, regional, and country specific EM strategies within Mirae Asset Global Investments (Global X parent company) since 2015. Prior to joining Mirae, Malcolm was the lead Latin America investment analyst at Ashmore Group from 2013 to 2015. From 2009 to 2011, Malcolm was an assistant vice president within Citigroup’s Private Bank focusing on asset management. Malcolm began his career in 2006 as an analyst on the convertible securities team at Deutsche Bank. Malcolm holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School (concentration in Finance), an M.A. in International Studies (concentration in Latin America) from the Lauder Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Malcolm is a US and Brazilian citizen and spent his childhood in Sao Paulo, Brazil. |

Michelle joined Global X in 2018 and has been instrumental in establishing the operations and processes for the ETF model portfolio business. She works on the construction and management of the ETF model portfolios while overseeing the broader team that is involved in the management of the model portfolios. Previously, Michelle worked at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in its ETF model portfolio business. Prior to Merrill, Michelle worked for a boutique asset management firm, with a focus on both South African and developed market equities. Michelle has authored papers on portfolio management with a focus on thematic and income focused investing. She also writes about a broad range of economic topics. Michelle holds a Master’s in International Finance from the Amsterdam Business School and is a CFA Charterholder. |
