John Koudounis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Calamos Investments, joined Julie Cooling, Founder and CEO of RIA Channel, at the New York Stock Exchange bell-ringing ceremony to discuss its private equity and private credit interval funds launched in partnership with Aksia.
Calamos has partnered with Aksia to form AC Private Markets. AC Private Markets launched one private credit and one private equity interval fund, which collectively reached $1 billion in assets as of September 2025. The private credit fund, which is diversified across direct lending, distressed, and real asset credit, posted a net return of 12.85% in 2024. The private credit fund offers limited liquidity at quarterly intervals, while the private equity fund offers semi-annual liquidity. The funds are available with low minimum investments and report tax information on Form 1099-DIV rather than on Form K-1.
