Since joining the firm, Mr. Gayeski has spearheaded “The Time for Alts Is Now” and “Roll Up the Capital Structure” campaigns. He also developed the “Galactic Mean Reversion” macro thesis for explaining the current challenging environment for equity and fixed income returns, as well as the continued strength of both nominal GDP and the labor market. Mr. Gayeski works closely with the sales and distribution teams to educate financial advisors on the power of “northwest quadrant of the efficient frontier strategies” and timely asset allocation enhancements.

Mr. Gayeski has spent over a decade as a contributor on major financial television programming including Bloomberg, Fox, Yahoo Finance and CNBC. He also presents at numerous financial conferences and wealth management events discussing the economic outlook, capital market conditions and the importance of embracing the “right” alternatives in asset allocation. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT and is a CFA charterholder.

Dustin Ackerman Dustin Ackerman Co-Portfolio Manager, FS MVP Private Markets Fund Future Standard

Dustin Ackerman is a Senior Vice President, a Co-Portfolio Manager of the FS MVP Private Markets Fund and a member of the firm’s primary investments team.

Mr. Ackerman joined Portfolio Advisors in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years at Royal Bank of Scotland supporting the U.S. derivatives trading business. He holds a BS from Brigham Young University–Idaho and an MBA from Columbia University.

Andrew Beckman Andrew Beckman Head of Global Credit and Portfolio Manager Future Standard

Andrew Beckman is a Managing Director and Head of the Global Credit business at Future Standard. The Global Credit business manages FS Credit Opportunities Fund, FS Tactical Opportunities Fund, FS Specialty Lending Fund, FS Credit Income Fund and FS Senior Credit Fund.

Mr. Beckman most recently served as a Partner and Head of Corporate Credit and Special Situations at DW Partners, a $3 billion alternative credit manager. Prior to joining DW Partners, he built and managed Magnetar Capital’s event-driven credit business and served as Head of Event Credit and Head of its Credit Opportunities Fund. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Multi-Strategy Investing Group. Earlier in his career, he worked at Investcorp International in its North American private equity business and at Salomon Smith Barney in the Investment Bank’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He holds a BS in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Rob Lawrence Rob Lawrence Head of Commercial Real Estate Future Standard

Rob Lawrence serves as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Credit at Future Standard. In this role, Mr. Lawrence oversees the firm’s real estate initiatives and manages the FS Credit REIT in partnership with its sub-adviser, Rialto Capital Management, LLC.

Mr. Lawrence has more than 30 years of investment experience in global commercial real estate including 17 years at Bear Stearns/JPMorgan Chase. At JP Morgan, he was the Head of the Securitized Products Group in Asia, where he managed the combined JP Morgan and Bear Stearns trading books. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the JP Morgan Japan Business Committee. Before the merger with JPMorgan in 2008, he was a Senior Managing Director and the Co-Head of Origination at Bear Stearns and a founding member of the firm’s Global CMBS department. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and an MS in Real Estate Investment and Development from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
