Advisors will develop a fundamental understanding of smart contract blockchains. Grayscale will provide an overview of Layer 1 smart contract blockchains and how they fit into the digital asset class, and then walk through the growth of Layer 1 smart contract blockchains, discuss the Blockchain Trilemma, and walk through a few case studies. Lastly, Grayscale will discuss the progress and positioning of these blockchains.

Speakers:

Brooke Stoddard is a VP on the Investor Solutions Team at Grayscale Investments, the world’s largest crypto asset manager with over $20 billion in assets under management (as of 2/28/2023). Since joining Grayscale in 2019, Brooke has educated financial advisors, institutional investors, and high net worth investors about the digital currency asset class and helped to raise billions of dollars in new capital into Grayscale products. Prior to joining Grayscale, Brooke was a private wealth advisor at Goldman Sachs, where he advised institutional and high net worth investors on asset allocation strategies and portfolio management. Brooke earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton and his MBA from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania.

Will Ogden Moore is a member of the Research team at Grayscale Investments. Since joining Grayscale, Will has authored and contributed to a number of reports ranging from markets and macro analysis to deeper dives into protocols and the crypto space. Prior to Grayscale, Will was an Investment Analyst at The Chernin Group, a consumer focused venture capital firm.
