O’Hara On The Launch of Pacer Swan Structured Outcome ETF Series

Sean O’Hara, Director at Pacer Financial discusses the firm’s newly launched Structured Outcome Strategies and other recent ETF launches.

Pacer ETFs, distributed by Pacer Financial, offer investors a wide range of rules-based, strategy-driven exchange-traded funds. Pacer’s family of funds include investment themes such as risk mitigation, high quality growth, growth, thematic growth, factor and structured outcome, and are designed to help investors plan for retirement and outperform even in uncertain markets. Recently, Pacer expanded its ETF lineup with the launch of its new Structured Outcome series.

Swan Global Asset Management, a pioneer in hedged equity solutions, will act as the sub-advisor for the fund family. “As we enter the new year with continued market uncertainty, it is important for us to bring our investors a product that offers a more defined outcome, and with that, potential for a higher degree of confidence,” says O’Hara in the fund launch press release. O’Hara joined PLANCO in 1985. O’Hara spent 22 years with PLANCO/Hartford where he performed various roles including wholesaler, divisional manager, and managing director of the national wholesaler team. In his time as managing director, PLANCO sales grew on an annual basis from $14 billion per year to over $30 billion per year. During his tenure, he had oversight responsibility for more than 300 wholesalers and 20 divisions. From 2001 to 2007, O’Hara managed all domestic wholesaling activities for variable annuities, mutual funds, and 401k’s. O’Hara joined Pacer Financial to lead the national wholesaling team. He has been featured on CNBC and Fox Business.
