Robert Miller, CFA, CEO, Frontier Asset Management, joined Keith Black, Managing Director of RIA Channel to discuss his firm’s unique investment philosophy and approach to managing risk.
Frontier Asset Management is boutique investment manager focused on delivering risk-managed returns. With an emphasis on downside protection, the firm’s suite of core strategies aim to cater to a range of investor needs, risk tolerances and time horizons. The Wyoming-based firm seeks to do things differently, says Miller. Frontier’s location allows the firm to act as if they were an outsider to the industry, to think independently, and build investment strategies differently than others in the industry. Frontier works with advisors to differentiate themselves on service, and provide a tax focus to clients, while avoiding the commoditization of the industry.
