Speakers:

Bill is oversees Nuveen’s alternative investment business development, partnering with sales leaders by providing strategy expertise, product and private market insight and direct advisor support for alternative investments including real assets, real estate and private capital market investments.

Bill joined the firm in 2016 and began his career in the investment industry in 1997. Before joining the firm, he served as managing director of business development and investor relations at Corsair Capital Management, an event-driven hedge fund, where he was responsible for leading the sales and client service efforts. Prior to his tenure at Corsair, Bill was managing director at hedge fund-of-funds firm Robeco-Sageas well as successor firm Arden Asset Management serving in sales, business development and investor relations leadership roles. At each of these firms, Bill was successful in placing alternative investment strategies onto the product platforms of leading wire house and advisory firms.

Bill graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Shippensburg University.

As head of the Americas for Nuveen Real Estate, Chris is responsible for all real estate investment operations in the region. Since 1999, his experience has focused on real estate acquisition, management and finance. He is a member of the firm’s executive leadership team, which oversees global strategic initiatives.

Prior to his current role, Chris served as the portfolio manager for the real property and commercial mortgage allocation of TIAA’s General Account and previously served as lead portfolio manager for TIAA’s direct real estate strategies. Prior to that, he was a director of real estate acquisition for the Western region of the U.S. and also worked in the mortgage division. He joined TIAA in 2001 having previously worked at Codina Development Corporation and The Related Group of Florida.

Chris graduated with a B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.

Gracie is the assistant portfolio manager for Nuveen Real Estate’s Nuveen Global Cities REIT.

She has been based in Denver since 2016 and was previously based in San Francisco, as one of the first hires on the San Francisco acquisitions team in 2013. Under that team, she covered acquisitions and asset management across the Northwest region of the United States. Gracie has worked on acquisitions across all of the big-four property types throughout the West Coast, including San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Los Angles, Portland, and Denver. In addition to acquisitions, she assisted in managing 2.7M square feet of the firm’s multifamily, office, and retail holdings.

Gracie graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Real Estate from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
