Jay Soni Jay Soni President Xebec

Jay Soni, joined Xebec in 2012 and currently serves as President. Mr. Soni is responsible for not only leading Xebec’s acquisitions nationwide but also the development and capital markets strategies for the firm. Since joining Xebec, Mr. Soni has been responsible for the acquisition and development of 70 different projects encompassing more than 22 million square feet. Prior to joining Xebec, Mr. Soni owned and operated JRS Capital Investments Inc., a real estate advisory and investment firm. Mr. Soni’s primary responsibilities were to locate investments and handle all aspects of the projects from acquisition, management, reposition, and disposition of the investments. Mr. Soni is a member of the Company’s Investment Committee.

Prior to forming JRS Capital, Mr. Soni served as Chief Financial Officer of Fastrak Mortgage, a commercial and residential mortgage company. Mr. Soni attended the University of Southern California where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development in 2012. Mr. Soni is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Joaquin De Monet Joaquin De Monet Executive Vice President Xebec Logistics Trust, LP

Joaquin de Monet joined Xebec in 2022 and serves as Executive Vice President, Xebec Logistics Trust, LP. Mr. de Monet is responsible for all aspects of Xebec Logistics Trust’s operations, including property acquisitions and dispositions, asset and portfolio management, debt financing, and investor equity capital.

Prior to joining Xebec, Mr. de Monet served as Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Palisades Capital Realty Advisors, a boutique investment management and advisory firm providing custom real estate investment solutions for high net worth, family office and institutional investors in the U.S. and Latin America. Mr. de Monet founded the company in 2013.

Prior to Palisades Capital Realty Advisors, Mr. de Monet was a global real estate executive for GE Capital for over 16 years. During that period, Mr. de Monet served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Arden Realty, GE Capital’s national operating platform for office and industrial properties, overseeing a portfolio with over $5 billion of assets under management. At the height of the great recession, Mr. de Monet founded and led a Global Center of Excellence (COE) for Leasing and Operations to accelerate best practices and lessons learned across GE Capital’s $25 billion global commercial real estate portfolio in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. de Monet also led GE Capital’s Mexico real estate business when GE Capital was the largest and most active foreign investor in Mexico, completing transactions totaling more than $3 billion.

Mr. de Monet attended the University of Southern California where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1986.

Jake Spring Jake Spring Senior Vice President of Acquisitions Xebec

Jake Spring joined Xebec in 2016 and serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions. Mr. Spring is responsible for identifying acquisition targets, performing financial and economic analyses, managing and executing the due diligence process, and negotiating deal terms. Prior to his current role, Mr. Spring served as a Senior Acquisitions Analyst for Xebec. Since joining Xebec in 2016, Jake has been involved in the acquisition and development of at least 54 different projects encompassing more than 20 million square feet.

Mr. Spring attended Claremont McKenna College where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics Accounting with a sequence in Financial Economics in 2011 and attended the University of Southern California where he received a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development and Business Administration in 2016.
