Rich Morgan from RIA Channel, interviews Paul Ehrlichman, Managing Director, Head of Global Value, Portfolio Manager of ClearBridge Investments. Morgan and Ehrlichman discuss the big opportunities and gaps they see in the market.
ClearBridge is an equity shop only working as a contrarian value manager. Gaps they see in the market that are creating opportunities include value where they have underperformed growth, emerging markets and international stocks. Ehrlichman explains they’re finding value mainly in areas overwhelmed with uncertainty. In regards to China’s decelerating growth, he suggests tapping into the travel, leisure, entertainment, and consumer goods markets for opportunities.
