Michael Koch is a platform wholesaler at American Funds, part of Capital Group. He has 18 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 16 years. Earlier in his career at Capital, he was an insurance marketing representative. Prior to joining Capital, Michael worked at NatCity Investments in Indianapolis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Michael is based in Carmel, Ind.
Zachary A. Per Assistant Vice President, Product Manager Delaware Funds
Zachary A. Per is a member of the product management group at Macquarie Investment Management (MIM) where he focuses on the firm’s Small-Cap Value / Mid-Cap Value Equity team and Core Equity team. In this role, Per is involved in product line assessment and development, competitive analysis, vehicle management, board support, dissemination of product information, product positioning, and sales support. He is also responsible for representing the investment teams’ philosophy and process to clients. Prior to joining the firm in April 2013, Per worked for five years at Janney Montgomery Scott in the firm’s wealth management department, leaving the firm as a product manager, responsible for the firm’s mutual fund, separately managed account, and alternative investment platforms. In 2007, he began his career as manager of fee-based administration at Ferris, Baker Watts (later acquired by RBC Wealth Management). Per earned his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University.
Stephen Rathford Corporate Vice President, Retirement Income Solutions New York Life
Stephen is responsible for helping National Brokerage firms and Banks build a well thought-out retirement distribution strategy for clients. With over thirty years experience in personal finance, Steve has been educating financial professionals and their clients about ways to build a solid retirement and overcome the challenges associated with transitioning from “saver” to “spender.” Prior to joining New York Life, Steve was with Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for sales in their national retail distribution system, and he also worked with their institutional sales group, FIIS.
