Andrew Carnegie from Prescott, Ball & Turben formed Carnegie Capital Management in 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio, but it was not until 1991 that Carnegie Capital Asset Management Company became SEC Registered Investment Advisors. In 2009 they changed their name to Carnegie Investment Counsel to reflect its unbiased, independent approach to investment management and advice.
Andrew Carnegie founded Carnegie in the principals that hard work, accountability, responsibility and stewardship will result in prosperous and productive lives for their clients.
Today Carnegie has been named one of the fastest growing registered investment advisors by Investment News and has grown from $280 million assets under management in 2010 to $450 million in 2011.
