Ryan Bell is a member of Barings Alternative Investments, a global real estate, private equity and real assets platform. Ryan is part of the Funds & Co-Investments team and is responsible for originating and underwriting funds and co-investments for Real Assets. Ryan has worked in the industry since 1998 with experience as a private equity General Partner and Limited Partner investor in real assets as well as commercial & industrial categories. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, he was a Principal at Raven Capital Management LLC and a Director at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., where he invested in asset-based debt and equity securities, principally in real asset sectors. Prior to Merrill Lynch & Co., he was a Vice President at Capital Partners, Inc. Ryan holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. |

Ralph Witt is a member of Barings Alternative Investments, a global real estate, private equity and real assets platform. Ralph is a part of the Funds & Co-Investments team and is responsible for originating and underwriting funds and co-investments for Real Assets. Ralph has extensive experience investing in infrastructure and natural resources transactions and has worked in the industry since 1997. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, he was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at the Hartford Investment Management Company where he oversaw a $5 billion debt private placement portfolio consisting of project finance, infrastructure and utility investments. He also led a new private equity fund initiative in the infrastructure and energy space. Ralph also served on the high-yield syndicated bank loan team at Webster Bank and the structured tax lease and project finance teams at Key Global Finance. Ralph holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, an M.B.A. from Boston University and is a member of the CFA Institute. |

Daniel Flynn is a member of the Barings’ Global Business Development Group and the Head of U.S. Retail Field Distribution. Dan is responsible for the sales and marketing of the firm’s open-end mutual funds and private strategies to financial advisors, as well as for developing distribution relationships with select RIAs, regional broker-dealers and bank trust departments throughout the South East. Dan has worked in the industry since 1997. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Dan spent 8 years with Eaton Vance and 5 years with Fidelity Investments in a variety of sales roles. Dan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester. |
