Gregory A. Reid is a partner and president of Salient’s MLP Complex.

Prior to joining Salient, Greg was a founder and CEO of RDG Capital LLC, a Houston-based asset management firm specializing in MLP investments. RDG was acquired by Salient in 2011. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of Merrill Lynch. Greg began his career in the financial services industry with Goldman Sachs.

Greg earned an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and later graduated from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management with an MBA. Greg is a member of the Austin Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and is very active in his community through his involvement in various charitable organizations.

Joel Beam
Real Estate Team Portfolio Manager

Joel Beam is a managing director and senior portfolio manager of real estate strategies at Salient.

Joel is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience in real estate securities research and investment management. He is nationally recognized for his experience in managing preferred and senior securities.

Previously, Joel was a partner and portfolio manager at Kensington Investment Group and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He joined Kensington in 1995 as a senior analyst and began managing portfolios in 1997. In 2009, Kensington was acquired by Forward Management, and subsequently in 2015, Salient acquired Forward. Joel previously worked at Liquidity Financial Advisors, where he valued and priced real estate limited partnership and institutional securities and their underlying properties.

Joel holds a bachelor of arts (with honors) from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jeremy Radcliffe – Moderator
President & Chief Strategy Officer

Jeremy L. Radcliffe is the president and chief strategy officer at Salient. He co-founded Salient in 2002 and serves on the firm’s management committee and investment committee.

At Salient, Jeremy has managed or overseen portfolios and funds focused on direct investment strategies as well as on allocations to third-party hedge fund and private equity managers. Jeremy directed the development and launch of the firm’s mutual fund platform, Salient MF Trust. He is frequently cited in leading industry publications and mainstream media on topics including liquid alternatives, volatility targeting and the use of quantitative strategies in portfolio construction.

A native of Houston, Jeremy graduated from St. John’s School before earning an undergraduate degree in classics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Jeremy is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. John’s School, a member of the Board of Directors of the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, and former board chairman and current advisory board member of the Houston Center for Literacy. Jeremy also serves on KIPP Houston Public Schools’ Advisory Board.
