Michael Roomberg, CFA, Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst, earned his BA in International Relations, Economics, and Finance from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, with Honors. Michael began his career as a research associate in 2008, at Boenning & Scattergood, a financial services firm in greater Philadelphia. There he specialized in Energy Exploration & Production (E&P) and Water Utilities & Industrials. He later joined Jefferies’ Industrials equity research team, and prior to Miller/Howard, served as Head of Water/Infrastructure Equity Research at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. in New York City. Michael brings considerable expertise in the energy, infrastructure, and water sectors to our firm’s portfolio management team. Michael joined Miller/Howard in 2013.

John Cusick, CFA
Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst

John Cusick, CFA, Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst, earned his BA in Finance and Marketing from Temple University, and his MBA in Finance from Fordham University School of Business in New York City. Cusick spent more than a decade at Oppenheimer & Co. in New York, where he started his career as a junior analyst working on the energy team, and then as a senior research analyst specializing in the midstream sector. Prior to joining Miller/Howard, he served as senior vice president and research analyst at Wunderlich Securities Inc. in New York, covering energy in North America including partnerships focused on natural gas, liquids, and exploration & production. His depth of knowledge of the MLP sector is an enormous asset to the firm’s portfolio management team. Cusick holds Series 7, 63 and 86/87 licenses.

Adam Fackler, CFA
Senior Research Analyst
Miller/Howard Investments

Adam Fackler, CFA, Senior Research Analyst, joined the investment team in May 2016. His primary coverage areas are master limited partnerships (MLPs) and Exploration and Production (E&P). Fackler brings with him more than 10 years of equity research experience. Prior to joining Miller/Howard, he worked out of Houston at several institutions, covering E&P at Rodman & Renshaw, KLR Group, and, most recently, both E&P and MLPs at MLV & Co. Fackler completed his BS in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics at Bucknell University. He holds Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 86, and 87 licenses.
