Matthew Johnson is the Director, Private Client Sales, at Brandes Investment Partners, L.P. His responsibilities includes sales management, product distribution, and business development, as well as developing strategy and planning and executing the firm’s field sales efforts. Previously, Mr. Johnson was a Product Manager for Brandes’ Global, Global Balanced, and U.S. Equity strategies. He also held the position of Brandes’ Regional Director of Marketing and Client Services. Mr. Johnson received his JD from Santa Clara University and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. His relevant experience began in 1993 and he joined Brandes the same year.

Gerardo Zamorano, CFA
Director, Investments Group,
Brandes Investment Partners

Gerardo Zamorano has analyst and team leader responsibilities on the Telecommunications Research Team, and is also a member of the Emerging Markets and All-Cap Investment Committees. Mr. Zamorano previously served as the Assistant Investment Officer in the Latin America Department with the International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group).

Mr. Zamorano earned his BSE (magna cum laude) from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, and MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University. His investment experience began in 1995, and he joined Brandes Investment Partners in 1999. He is a limited partner of the firm’s parent company, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
