Alexander is responsible for single-stock, macro thematic and derivative idea generation to internal and external client base using proprietary research, overlaid with quantitative analysis including style factor modeling, short-interest data, volatility analysis, credit-equity correlations, and macro overlay. He also provides event-driven counsel on special situations, pre-event and risk arbitrage trades as part of the Central Risk Desk. Ideas are disseminated via his weekly Citi Edge and ad hoc publications, which has become a flagship product within Citi Equities. Prior to joining Citi, Alexander was a Portfolio Manager for 5 years, running $1B in AUM, focusing on fundamental special situations, value + catalyst and distressed events. Alexander started his career at JPMorgan in cash and derivative sales. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA Joint Honours in French and Economics.

Nicholas Parcharidis is Managing Director and Co-Head for Citi Private Client Solutions (CPCS), responsible for all business in the Americas.

In his leadership role, Nicholas is responsible for driving the CPCS customer franchise and working with product partners to deliver on customers’ Capital Markets needs by providing solutions such as multi-asset structured derivatives, equities, fixed income and FX. Clients include the Citi Private and Consumer Banks as well as Third-Party Private Banks, RIAs, Broker-Dealers and Regional Banks.

In his nearly two decades at Citi, Nicholas has been instrumental in the growth and build-out of the firm’s structured investments business in NAM and LatAm. He frequently educates investors, institutions and regulators about Capital Markets and market trends.

Prior to his career at Citi, Nicholas was Director of Capital Markets for the Chicago Board Options Exchange, where he was responsible for establishing its structured notes business. He began his career at Shearson Lehman Brothers, in the Managed Account Group of the firm’s Consulting Services Division.

Nicholas holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business, both from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He received a CFA designation in 1999.
