Jamie is a Partner of S. W. Mitchell Capital, and the Investment Manager of the SWMC Small Cap European Fund and a number of long only small cap managed accounts. Jamie also manages a long/short small cap 1940 Act fund in the US.

Jamie joined SWMC in early 2006. He launched a long/short small cap fund in November 2007 after a year and a half spent researching European markets, finding himself gravitating towards the small cap space.

Jamie started his career at J O Hambro Investment Management (JOHIM, now Waverton Investment Management) in 1997. During his time at JOHIM he managed private client portfolios and researched US companies, with a particular emphasis on technology, media and telecommunications.

Jamie was born in England and educated at the University of Oxford, where he read Classics.
